About the scenic images
Nearly 5,000 photos show scenes from every corner of Oregon. The images illustrate the geographic and cultural context and diversity of the state's 36 counties. Image descriptions
Each image description includes the following: caption, dimensions, date created, camera, lens, orientation, and keywords/tags. Call 503-378-5259 for more information about specific images.

Keyword searching
Use the search window on the left side of each Web page. Enter the desired search term such as sunset, barn, church, or lake. Click on the "image" tab in the search results page and then refine the search by clicking on "Scenic Oregon Images."

The 72 dpi JPEG images displayed in the Oregon Historical County Records Guide may be used free of charge without permission provided that the photo credit shown below is given. Use of the photos implies agreement to the following terms and conditions.
