Overview
An Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) public hearing is re-scheduled for December 22, 2009 at 9:00 am, in the State Archives Building, 800 Summer St. NE, Salem, regarding a proposed amendment to OAR 166-150-0035(14). The State Archives is amending this rule to re-state the statutory requirement that ballot return envelopes be retained two years after all elections.
Review Notes
The rule amendment provides guidance to County Clerks on the retention of vote by mail election records.
Comment Period
Interested persons may comment on the proposed rule orally or in writing at the hearing. Written comments will also be considered if received by 5:00pm on Tuesday December 22, 2009.
